I’m a pretty avid motorcyclist. I commute to work most days and spend the lion’s share of my Saturday’s in the summer riding the canyons around Utah.

Like most activities, there is motorcycle-specific equipment (that isn’t limited to boots, a jacket and a helmet). Last fall I discovered a small (and some might consider insignificant) piece of equipment that I have come to really appreciate. It’s called a Biker Boot Strap. It keeps your jeans from riding up as they get blown in the wind. It basically consists of two clips and a bungie-like strap that clips to your jeans and goes under your boots.

A couple of weeks ago, one of the clips came undone and I stepped on it while getting off the bike. It became very apparant why I’ve come to rely on the little guys as I finished the ride ...
