Venture-backed ezRez Software, a software-as-a-service provider of travel, loyalty and payment solutions, has acquired Topguest, a start-up company providing loyalty and social network engagement products to travel companies. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Both companies are San Francisco-based. ezRez was founded in 2003 and is backed by Canaan Partners, Authosis Ventures and Azure Capital Partners. Topguest completed a $2 million financing last year by notable Silicon Valley venture capital firms, including the first investors in Facebook.
