I hope not, but I did let over-cautious lawyers persuade me to add this horrible disclaimer to my ebooks. Seems a bit much — I don’t think I’m likely to be sued for bad advice in a marketing book.

It’s been removed now — but there’s a lesson to be learned:

Filter every single bit of legal advice through your common-sense filter.

A lawyer’s job is to think of things that can go wrong. It’s what we train them and hire them to do.

So get their advice, evaluate it, then do what makes sense.
